Empowering immigrants: AIR’s Rapid Response Advice-ONly Legal Consultations

At Advocates for Immigrant Rights (AIR), our mission to fight for the dignity, safety, and inclusion of vulnerable immigrants is more crucial than ever. In response to the surging demand for legal services and the constraints of our limited resources, AIR has launched rapid response Advice-Only Legal Consultation appointments to provide accessible, high impact support. During these appointments, our experienced immigration attorneys meet virtually with clients to deliver comprehensive legal advice, evaluating their unique situations, identifying potential forms of relief, and exploring all available legal pathways. These sessions empower immigrants with clarity and confidence to pursue make informed choices about their future.

How it works

On Friday morning we hold 30-minute telephone or video appointments with one of our experienced immigration attorneys to discuss your circumstances and get answers to questions you have about how current immigration policies will effect you and your family. To help AIR cover the costs of providing these vital services, we suggest a $50.00 donation. This payment can me made at the program’s donation landing page. However, no one will be turned away due to inability to pay. Our commitment is to ensure everyone has access to the legal guidance they need. Please note: Advice-Only Legal Consultations provide guidance but no guarantee of legal representation.

Honor Your Appointment: We rely on you to attend your scheduled consultation, as our capacity is limited due to high demand. If you cannot attend, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance via Book Me or by contacting us at advocates@airlegal.org.

  • Important: No-Shows will not be eligible for a rescheduled consultation, and donations are non-refundable. This policy helps us serve as many clients as possible.

  • Financial Hardship: If the suggested $50 donation poses a challenge, you may contribute any amount, or email us at advocates@airlegal.org to inquire about limited free consultation slots, subject to availability.
