SMS Terms of Service

Program Description

Advocates for Immigrant Rights sends text messages to clients who have explicitly consented to receive them. These messages include operational and informational notifications such as appointment reminders, legal consultation confirmations, court date alerts, and critical milestones or updates regarding an active legal case.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You will receive text messages dynamically based on the ongoing needs, schedules, and active updates related to your specific legal matter.

Cost and Carriers

Advocates for Immigrant Rights does not charge a fee to send or receive text messages. However, standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and wireless plan. Supported carriers include all major US mobile networks. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to Opt-Out (Stop)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. To stop receiving text messages from Advocates for Immigrant Rights, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After texting STOP, you will receive one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Following this, you will no longer receive text messages from us unless you choose to opt back in by texting START.
